Just as God assumes an iota of Tamogun (spiritually impure Tama component) at the time of his incarnation, similarly saints having attained the status of ‘अहं ब्रह्म अस्मि’ (Aham Brahma Asmi) i.e I am Brahma,the Supreme Being), embrace a minuscule portion of ego and perform Dharma-Kaarya (propagation of the tenets of Dharma) and this is known as Saatvik Aham (pure ego). – Tanuja Thakur
