Invoking Gods on New Year Celeberations
Just compare the two – on the one hand, invoking gods-goddesses to start New Year celebrations, according to the scriptures on the Pratipada (first) of Chaitra Shuklapaksh and on the other hand, drinking, gambling and dancing to Tamasic (spiritually impure) songs with half-naked women till midnight to celebrate the New Year, that too sans any classical reason on December 31!!! Awaken O Hindus!! Before we destroy with our own hands, the Vedic culture that is based on evolved spiritual science and due to lack of a sense of discrimination and make our life a virtual hell by embracing western culture that nourishes Tamogun!!!
