A few days ago, I met a curious person. He said, “I like your articles; but I do not understand more than half of it, please tell what efforts should be done to understand your articles in totality.” He also added that he did not find tough the Hindi language that was used in the articles, implying that ‘the language was not the issue.” He himself is a Professor of Hindi. If you are reading any material pertaining to spirituality and you do not fully understand it, first of all read it two to three times with the help of your intellect, if no special results are visible even then, pray in the following manner: “O Shree Ganesh ! Let my intellect be pure and Sattvik , may the subtle negative energies not be able to create any obstacles while I am reading the spiritual articles and may the black covering surrounding my mind and intellect be destroyed, have such grace upon me is my prayer unto your lotus feet.”Simultaneously, pray to Maa Saraswati thus, “O Mother! Just as I grasp the subjects pertaining to this illusory world, similarly the spiritual knowledge that I am about to grasp, may I understand that too and may it be retained in my memory and may I also be able to implement it in my day-to-day life, have such grace upon me.” Remember two more things – it is not necessary that every article is meant for you, hence first read what you can understand. Secondly, if you do the salt-water remedy, that too will destroy the black layer around your mind and intellect and you will easily start understanding the articles !-Tanuja Thakur
