• Hindus must never listen to Shaayari (Urdu poetry) and Ghazals (Urdu songs put to music), for they contain nothing else, but wine and description of female beauty, which fills our perspective towards women with lust and increases the black veil over our mind and intellect. In Bharatiya culture, men full of lust and desires for ‘parstree’ (women other than wife) have been designated as demons; Ravana was a great scholar, but lust had turned him blind and paved the way for his destruction. Remember, that in Vedic culture, woman has been considered as ‘venerable’, not an object of enjoyment. – Tanuja Thakur
