HYDERABAD: Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath put forward a Hindutva agenda for Telangana
while addressing a large gathering in Hyderabad’s old city on Sunday. He said not only was his party ready to rename Hyderabad as Bhagyanagar, it was also important to snap the city’s terrorist links and only a BJP government could achieve this.
“BJP has taken up the mantle of establishing Ram Rajya and Telangana too should play a role in this,” he told the gathering at Begum Bazar, less than 2 km from the headquarters of Assaduddin Owaisi’s AIMIM. “And if you are keen to rename Hyderabad as Bhagyanagar, then vote for BJP.”
He said that the only way to stop terrorists was to elect BJP. “All terror attacks have some link with Hyderabad. Had Muslim appeasement not been part of our politics, such terrorist activities would not have taken place. While Congress feeds biryani to terrorists, BJP feeds them bullets.
