Uttar Pradesh: Youth rapes 4-month-old calf, Hindu youth wing protests

Lucknow: Sexual offences are not only limited to humans but now animals are also the prey of it.  An appalling case of rape was reported from Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh, where a four-month-old calf was raped by a youth. The calf later succumbed to her injuries. The incident took place on Wednesday in Tilwada village of Bhagpat.

According to a report by the Times of India, the calf died on saturday and the police officials lodged a complaint against the youth under Sections 377 and 429 of Indian Penal Code. Following the bizzare incident the Hindu groups of the area, began demanding the arrest of the youth.

The Senior police officer, Vijay kumar told the national daily that an FIR has been filed aginst the youth whose family says he is a minor. His real age could be ascertained only after required medical examinations. A government veterinarian examined the calf’s body and claimed that it died of internal injuries. However, samples have been sent to an Agra-based lab but the final reports are awaited.

The local youth wing president of Hindu Jagran Manch, Ankit Badoli mentioned that he does not have words to describe the category of the crime. A similar crime was reported from Haryana, where seven men gang-raped a pregnant goat, which died immediately after the heinous crime committed against her.
