लोकाभिरामं रणरङ्गधीरं राजीवनेत्रं रघुवंशनाथम् ।
कारुण्यरुपं करुणाकरंतं श्रीरामचंद्रं शरणं प्रपद्ये ॥
Meaning : I take refuge in the lotus feet of Sri Ramachandra, who is loved by the people, who is calm and composed in the battle field, whose eyes are like Blue lotuses and who is the Head of the Raghu dynasty, who is an embodiment of compassion and showers His compassion to all.
