Jharkhand cuts ribbon for its Gobar-Dhan Yojana

July 24, 2018

We can produce biogas using animal dung, household waste, waste materials generated from agriculture work says Chief Minister Raghubar Das while addressing on a one-day workshop on Gobar-Dhan Yojana in Jharkhand’s Ministry on Monday.

“This will not only give us green energy, but our village will also be clean. Rural will also be self-sufficient and empowered. Due to sanitation, the diseases will be reduced in the village,” CM Das added.

The Chief Minister said that women of SHGs should make a list of other cattle including cow available in the village. Add them to this plan. Apply a dung gas plant at one place outside the village. This will also cause organic energy as well as organic fertilizer. The farmers who have given cow dung can be fed this fertilizer to the farm. Earn the amount by selling additional manure.

CM Das further added, “To provide the Gobar Gas Plant, the central government is giving 100 percent subsidy to the Gram Panchayat model and 70 percent subsidy to the Self-Help Group Federation Model. Make a mass movement by joining the headquarters, self-help groups and beneficiary committees. In this, the state government will do everything possible. ”

The Chief Minister said that the authority of the head has not been reduced by making a development committee in the village. But the public has chosen the leader to develop the village, not for its development, it needs to be understood. Develop the village, so that people will ask you again and again.

If the Head will not work, then the Gobar Gas Plants will be installed in village-village through the self-help group. He said that everyone will have to cooperate in this regard by understanding ‘own village-work’. Rapid development is possible only through public participation. When the villagers will develop themselves, the other villagers will also be motivated to see them.

Emphasizing cleanliness, CM Raghubar Das added, “According to the data in 2014, Jharkhand had an open defecation status (ODF) of 18 percent. Today, the result of good work in four years is that the situation has reached 85 percent. By 2 October 2018, on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, we have to hand over clean Jharkhand in Bapu’s footsteps. It will have to work with dedication. ”
