कर्पूरगौरं करुणावतारं
संसारसारं भुजगेन्द्रहारम् ।
सदा वसन्तं हृदयारविन्दे
भवं भवानीसहितं नमामि ।।
Karpoor gauram karunaawataram
sansar saaram bhujgendra haaram
sadavasantam hrudayaaravinde
bhawam bahawani sahitam namami
Meaning : I salute to that Shiv form of Almighty along with Bhavani (The consort of Shiva), who is as white as camphor, an incarnation of compassion, the essence of this world, who wears a serpant around his neck and is ever present in the lotus abode of our hearts.
