शांताकारं भुजगशयनं पद्मनाभं सुरेशम्
विश्वाधारं गगनसदृशं मेघवर्णं शुभाङ्गम् |
लक्ष्मीकान्तं कमलनयनं योगिभिर्ध्यानगम्यम्
वन्दे विष्णुं भवभयहरं सर्वलोकैकनाथम् ||

Meaning : Salutations to God Vishnu, the one with peaceful disposition,
one who is reclining over the soft coil-bed of the Serpent God, the one with a lotus growing in his navel, the head of all the gods, the support of the universe, all-pervasive like the ether, cloud-colored one, ausipicious-bodied one, the Spouse of Laxmi, lotus eyed one, visible to the yogis in their meditations, remover of the fear of the rounds of rebirth, the unique God of all the worlds, salutations !
